App Features

Pull to Refresh

Allow users to reload the current website page with a downward gesture and configure theme colors and URL rules.

Before you start

  • Pages whose top-level vertical swipe can safely trigger a reload

Configure and verify

  1. Enable the module

Pull to Refresh is enabled for new apps, but its settings can be changed or the module disabled.

  2. Choose colors

Set theme background and spinner colors with visible contrast.

  3. Define where it works

Use enabled URL rules to restrict refresh or disabled rules to exclude forms, checkout, payments, editors, maps, and horizontal gesture interfaces.

  4. Test the gesture

Start at the top of the website content and pull downward. The WebView must be at its scroll top before native refresh starts.

  5. Test recovery

Verify the refresh indicator stops after success, main-frame error, or timeout.

URL rules

Rules accept partial matches, wildcard *, and exact [url] forms. Disable rules override enable rules.

Gesture conflicts

Test before release

  • Gesture works only at scroll top
  • Spinner clears on success and error
  • Forms and checkout are excluded
  • Full-screen loader stays suppressed during refresh
